Best moments at school

1. When Mum and Dad got me a computer to bring to school for BYOD. I also got a wireless mouse which is cool. I like having a blog and I have done 26 posts this year.   

  

2. Ski trip. It took ages to get to Mount Hutt but it was so worth it.  I had a snowboard lesson - my first one ever.

I did a flip by mistake because I hit a big chunk of ice.

3.  My first school camp at Wainui.  I really really loved the archery.  One of my arrows went up the side and it hit the back and made a big bang.  I got to use the walkie - talkie too.

4.  When I got up to level 20 for my spelling I was really pleased with myself.  I practice my spelling a lot at home with Mum.

5. At school I like to play on the on the big adventure playground.  I have leant to skip four tyres on the rope swing.  Some of my friends can skip tyres too.

This is a rope swing but not like the one we have at school. The one at school is not over a river!!

Masterchef

I decided to do Masterchef for my home learning. So I went grocery shopping with Mum on Monday. I wanted to make hot dogs so we needed to get frankfurters and buns. At home we had cheese’ tomato sauce and mustard. Here are some photos of me making:

I had to get all the ingredients out. Then I cut the long buns down the middle. I put the frankfurters into the pot and waited until they were cooked. After that I put the frankfurters into the buns and put grated cheese on top. Then we put it in the microwave to melt the cheese. Mum squirted on the tomato sauce and mustard. At the same time I cooked fries in the oven. They took 20 minutes. We had these with the hot dogs. For pudding we had chocolate ice cream in a cone with sprinkles or ice cream with strawberries.

Soccer

Soccer

On a Saturday I play soccer with my team. I have made some more friends and had a lot of fun and we learnt a lot. I can not wait till next year. I am in the Tenth grade colts. My team is made up of really good players because this year I should of been in the 9th grade.

On a tuesday I go to soccer practice and on a saturday I play an actual game.

My team has won 8 games this season a I am proud of myself and my team. In a game of soccer I was in the goal for the first half and I stopped all the balls that went at me.
